Kale and
Fruit Power Smoothie
Ideally you want your breakfast to be around 350-400 calories especially if you are Active ! Snacks should be approx 250 calories based on eating 5-6 meals daily !
In a Blender or Nutribullet, layer
and combine the following:
1 – 2 cups
of fresh Kale
1 small
chopped apple (optional to leave skin on – more nutrients if you do!)
½ peeled
Lemon
1-2 cups of
water, Almond Milk or Coconut Water
Ice
Modifications can include 0% Greek
Yogurt, Protein Powder and Liquid Egg Whites
